JMZ (Jean-Michel Zanetti)

Jean-Michel Zanetti (aka JMZ) is a french composer based in Lyon.
His first notable musical experience is a cover on Björk’s album « Army Of Me: Remixes and Covers ». Later, he co-writes the opening title-theme of the cult TV series « HEROES » (for french broadcasts). The resulting single ranked 6th on the charts in France.
By participating in songwriting camps all over the world (Sweden, England, Canada, etc.) thanks to his publisher, Melmax Music, he will connect with many international artists, and will permeate Anglo-saxon methods.
At the same time, he works for advertising, for brands such as Babyliss (in Germany), Pullman Hotels, Walibi (amusment parks) and Marie (french ready-made meals)… He then turned to film and television by co-writing the soundtrack to Julie Delpy‘s film « 2 Days In New York », making musical sequences for Michel Drucker‘s cult French TV show « Champs Elysées » or still, by composing the music of the TV movie « Manipulations » with Lambert Wilson.
He wrote the music of « Sun » by Jonathan Desoindre a musical film for which he also had to work on set with the comedians and prop department as a coach andmusic consultant.
More recently, his track « Ce Sera Bien » appears on NETFLIX popular series « Emily In Paris » (S1E1).
